I'm into the 3rd week of CTRF...that's the 11th consecutive week of working 7 days in a row! Oh joy!

Seriously, this past weekend (all three days) were awesome! Here are some pics of some of my artwork...

Barna's Wedding Henna

Barna's Bridal Henna

Yesterday I did my friend Barna's bridal henna...and I also did her mom and sister's too...it took a bit longer than I expected. We started around 7:30pm and I didn't finish until 2:30am!!!

Library Demo

Good morning,
I just wanted to post a few pictures from the henna demo I did at the Washington Township Public Library in Long Valley, NJ. The traffic was horrendous! Instead of taking me 1.5 hours, it took 2.5 hours!

So I finally made it, and there was a huge crowd of people! Last year, I think I had a dozen teens. This year, I easily did 30 teens and 4 adults. I think it was well recieved and I got interviewed by the local paper!

Celebration of Celts

Well...the good news is:
- I reconnected with a friend that I haven't seen in over 4 years
- Shared a trailer with her and her family...accompanied by GOOD food, and hugs from her 7 year old daughter!
- bought some mead *g*

the bad news is:
- lost lots of $
- spent $ on mead (ok...maybe that really isn't bad, but financially...)
- cold and raining =(

So...it was the luck of the draw, being May and all, and truly traditional weather =P

This week...

Update!

Just to update everyone...

I *will* be at Celebration of Celts both days (Saturday 9am-midnight & Sunday 10am-6pm) on May 3-4, 2008. And I *might* be accompanied by Peggy (previous collegue from NYRF) who will be face painting! So come on out and visit us!

Also, I will be doing henna for my friend Barna for her wedding on Thursday 6/26/08. I will defintely post pictures from that! Also, she's having her mendhi party that Friday 6/27/08 where I will *not* be working...so I should be able to post some pics of whatever I get done on myself...cool, huh?
